here are some ideas for Non-language, audio and compulsory guidance which might provide some ideas for our presentation. A warning system is any system of biological(such as fear and pain) or technical nature deployed by an individual or group to inform of a future danger. Its purpose is to enable the deployer of the warning system to prepare for the danger and act accordingly to militate against or avoid it. An audio evacuation system is a type of fire alarm system. In addition to sirens, horns, bells, or alarm tones, an audio evacuation system plays a voice message with evacuation instructions. A civil defense siren is an electrically-powered mechanical device for generating sound to provide warning of approaching danger and to indicate when the danger has passed.False alarmSome newer sirens have the ability to broadcast voice messages over large areas, depending on winds and noise. These electronic sirens are similar to electromechanical sirens; however, they rely on a series of large loudspeakers to produce sound. However, there is some question about the ability of a system of electronic sirens to broadcast a voice message with sufficient intelligibility over long distances – not only does the sound echo off some surfaces, the sound could have multiple arrival times from widely-spaced siren sites.

Hi everyone…

Just to add an art historical element to the lab, I’ve been looking into Surrealist theory, particularly Breton’s concept of ‘Automatism’, his auto-biographical ’Nadja’, Baudelaire’s ‘Forest of Symbols’, Aragon’s ‘Paris Peasant’, the idea of ‘profane illumination’ and other writings on the Surrealist City. The flaneur is the key theme…which led me onto placing it within the twenty-first century context, investigating how the modern day ‘flaneur’ navigates the cityscape visually, but more interestingly, aurally…not only within the confines of the city, but all that extends beyond it.

Guidance

Guidance can refer to many things, although it is generally understood as an activity related to our senses: smelling, hearing, touching, seeing, tasting and even the sixth sense. With regard to this, guidance is both exterior to oneself like using tools or codes of guidance but also interior with respect to decisions, feelings. I believe that although guidance is too much related and controlled by power, the same guidance for different people have a differentiating effect in every individual. For the reason that, every experience contain a potential individuality which will constitute a potential for guidance to be different, failure or success.
